What kind of artist am I
My name is Young Hahn, a visual artist based in Morristown NJ.
I came to the USA from S. Korea in 1976, and attended high school in Reading PA. I earned my BS in Computer Science & Mathematics and worked as an IT Enterprise Architect and Management at major corporations for 40 years.
But my passion has always been drawing and painting since an early age and continue to learn and work on creating paintings of any subjects that inspires me.
I have always been fascinated and challenged by fluidity,transparency, and complexity of watercolor painting and texture, color, composition details of Acrylic and Oil paint.
My subjects are inspired by nature and the world around us. I strive to capture the essence of my subjects in all my paintings in forms of Semi-impressionistic approach or expressionism abstract with overall balance of the painting through composition, colors, volume, and shapes of the subject.
